melbourne herald sun sat 30-10 004 Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2004 19:38:36 +1000 Dear Adrian, found this article in the melbourne herald sun, the bit about the only six exec is interesting, as i went to finley in N.S.W. to look at some cars from a deceased estate and one of them was a white exec / black seats / six, there were several other cars plus parts, this was a few years ago, i have heard that they were bought by somebody not too far away, does anybody know the fate of these cars. Also attatched is a photo of the engine bay of the project, "Brown Bitch", the engine has been re-built by myself as has the fully stripped and and re-painted engine bay, the wiring loom has been totally re-done with the fuse panel on the drivers side and a million, (lots), of relays all wire gauges have been increased and the lights converted to halogen, re- king of darkness article. The starter motor is one these fancy geared type, purchased from the, " THE ENGINE CENTRE", they work very well, but be sure to ask for the spacer kit as well, origionally the motor was set up sideways but after a visit from myself i spoke to one one of the chaps the and showed them how i changed the configuration to a verticle set up that will give more clearance for the motor and wiring, so if any body wants a reliable starter motor check out, WWW.enginecentre.com.au Regards: Steve Lees.
